Early Career Scholars Working Group

The Early Career Scholars Working Group (ECSWG) helps the Open Modeling Foundation support students and early-career scholars in their professional development. As such, the ECSWG welcomes:

  1. Any student enrolled in an institution of higher learning (e.g., college or university) or early-career scholar
  2. Any scholar or researcher who has progressed beyond the early-career stage and is passionate about helping early-career individuals on their journeys (for example, through mentorship or development of training materials or exercises).

The ECSWG provides input to OMF Working Groups and the Executive Committee. The ECSWG organizes programs and events focused on early-career scholars and students and is primarily assisted by the Administrative Coordinator and Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG).
